Tru-Heating is a Bolton-based, HETAS registered stove and fireplace installer. We work across a roughly 25-mile radius — the Greater Manchester towns, the Lancashire towns to the north, and the West Pennine Moors in between.

Two kinds of area, two kinds of job

In the towns — Bolton, Bury, Salford, Farnworth, Radcliffe — it is mostly Victorian terraces and inter-war semis with boarded-over chimney breasts, and most of it is within a Smoke Control Area, so a DEFRA-exempt stove is the norm. Out on the moor edge — Edgworth, Belmont, Ramsbottom, Rivington, Brinscall — it is stone cottages with genuine inglenooks, often outside smoke control, and that is where the bigger installations are.
